the accents I am talking about kyle are all the chrome trim gone (already off car anyway's) and then make a black stripe some where

no the trim and clips for the trim was removed by previous owner and already filled ( so even if I wanted to) i cannot put the trim back on Just ddint wanna sell it till I figured out where it went .................

Kyle~ my car was originally root beer brown/white with the elco classic two tone job on it, when the car was painted we took off the crome strip off and put a pinstripe instead. The wheels are pontiac ralleys off of a 74 firebird my girlfriends dad had for awhile, had them powedercoated and then put the trim rings and chevy emblems on the caps, thanks for the compliments. and i agree, lime green and black would look sharp for sure.

Im thinking about either keeping mine the same color but it will need paint again here in a year or two cause of some blemishes...or im thinking about going burnt orange metallic/white, or blacking out the grill/rear bumper and going black/gold...or going pearl white metallic/metallic purple...not sure what i wanna do yet...still want to finish the interior, suspension, beefing up the engine, get a cowl hood, rebuild the rear end, and put either a th400 or 700r4 behind it before I think about repainting it though...so i got quite a list ahead of me.

the paint is pontiac lemans blue and some generic white...sucks though cause they quit making the paint so i dont have touch up paint anymore.

to be honest, i am a fan of the hugger orange, just not on the G3's...probably more of an old school thing to like the flat paints, cause you guys grew up in/around that era...plus im just a huge burnt orange fan cause of the University of Texas

for your daughters car you should do it black with pink stripes...that would give it a girly perspective but the black still makes it a mean looking car...thats what im trying to get my girlfriend to do on her 70

Actually, the pic you showed is more like a Tangerine Pearl. This is Burnt Orange. One of my favorite factory Chevelle colors for 71 & yeah it does remind me of Longhorn colors. Beer

i dont have a problem with Jayhawks either man...im happy they got rid of that fat basta*d of a coach and hired turner gill, now they should really take off.

thats funny that you wear longhorn stuff in OU territory...that stuff gets intense man...Sooners fans dont have anything else but football...at least texas has a little more to do...plus Austin is the greatest city in the world.
