I hope everyone is doing well. I am finally going to try and post some pics of my 73 Monte. It has a new LS1 crate motor, 4l60e trans and a 95 Caprice 9c1 disc rear end with 3.42 gear and Truetrac. 12" Astro van front rotors, lower control arms and spindles to get the 5/8" larger lower ball joint and the matching 5x5 bolt pattern that the Caprice rear has.  Astro van hydroboost, 95 Caprice gas tank and master cylinder, 05 Crown Vic interceptor aluminum drive shaft. It has 17x8 soft 8 wheels all around with 255/50/17 Nitto nt555 tires. I used moog 5664 front springs for a Iroc convert (750 lbs springs) rear springs are special service gm springs from a mid 90's hearse or limo. Monroe special service shocks for a 90's Caprice.

Used a moog 73-77 Malibu, Cutlass etc. center link (removed the steering stabilizer) also used a 1996 Grand Cherokee steering box w/12:1 ratio. This is just mockup to see if it would work, its about 3/4" wider from pitman arm to idler arm.

Your Monte is awesome, always liked that color on a 73. This setup has over 2500 miles and the hydroboost works great, stops on a dime. I used one out of a 91-93or4? Astro, the hydroboost mounts strait out (the 94+ are angled too far up towards the hood). I also used a section of the Astro brake pedal arm and welded to the Monte pedal arm.

I see you are using some band type clamps on the exhaust. I used them for my whole system. Yours is the first pics I've seen, of those being used.
Good information on the years to use for the hydro boost parts.

Thanks! The paint's worn out, but she still cleans up well. Smile

Good info on the hydro-boost -- I've been tempted to try it.

Thanks, the Monte is currently getting a complete new roof skin off a donor 76 Monte due to rust holes from the vinyl top.

It will also get SPC adjustable front upper control arms with delrin bushings, and Global West front lower del-a-lum (delrin)bushings in the Astro control arms. Moog upper and lower ball joints. 96 Caprice 9c1 sway bar was also used. With an aggressive alignment it should handle pretty good.
