Nice progress. What material did you use to make the rear package tray?

Re: '76 Guna S-3 Project w/ pics
nice car I got a 76 s3 that I rescued from a field and the only reason they parked it was because the starter went out, so now it needs door and trunk pains, quarter panels, and most if not all the interior and a whole wiring kit. So my question is where is the best and cheapest place to order that stuff if u know?

Very nice solid looking Laguna you're working with! I like your future plans for your power plant. I did the 305 to big block switch back in '99. What a difference. What gears will you be running? I went from factory 3.08 to 3.42's. I do miss the 3.08's for open road 75mph cruising. Are you still going to run slotted wheels?

Re: '76 Guna S-3 Project w/ pics
If you lower your car I would suggest shorty headers as mine scrape. I will be switching for shorties soon and use my full headers on my 73. This car has been an expensive learning expierience.

just google parts. I actually traded a rifle (ar15) for a solid 75 Malibu that was perfect with black interior. Took everything I needed and then chopped it up and made a couple hundred from the scrap yard

Re: '76 Guna S-3 Project w/ pics
Cool Jurgen ... I just got a flashback to my junior year in high school! I got a set of 15x8 SS's with Kelly N-50's on the back of my73 Laguna, but I could not afford the fronts yet. I ran around for almost a year like that, untill i saw the chrome peeling off the spokes!! I got mad and threw a fit at the Supershops store and the manager knew my Dad. He gave me a 50% refund and a deal on 4 new keystones. Those are the ones in those vintage pics of my green 73 that I post from time to time on here. I heard that cragar got their problems sorted out years ago, but in 1977 they had a few issues. I always liked the look though!!

Those wheels are nice, look good on the car. What size tires are those, they look nice & tall.

Re: '76 Guna S-3 Project w/ pics
Have you said what paint color you were going with? I don't know why, but darker shades just seem to re ally accent the lines on the S-3's. Just wonderin'!!
