73 ss owner's frame off resto project *Updated pics 3-6-13*
Hello everyone, 73 ss owner here. I am fairly new to the site and have finally gotten around to uploading a few pics of my 73 chevelle project. This is a frame off restoration that began in 2005, at first by my own hands. As the process came to needing larger body work than I could accomplish I handed it of to a body man in 2010. It is nearing the final stages of completion from him and I sure will be ready to get it back!
First crack at uploading here, I don't think it worked, doesn't show up in preview. Let's see.
Strip down phase: Notice the overlayed replacement panels in pic three? From a previous restoration that I paid dearly for.
.[img][/img]
Interior view of small opera windows.
That didn't work. I'll try later.

Don't feel bad, i have a hard time posting pic's also. I do 99 percent of my internet on my phone, the other 1 percent is on my pos work computer.

It gets pretty easy but you gotta get used to it.

How did you do that jimi off just a x? I looked at the tutorial mali, I just don't like following directions very well! I have a photobucket account I use to host and I have posted to other sites and just thought I knew what I was doing. Pila, That is why I thought I could do it quick, I must have copied the link and not the url. I was in a hurry. Those are AR slots Budman. They are definitely old school.

Nice job on an awesome car! I am adding a factory floor shifter and console to my 73 and I'd love to get some detailed pictures of the brackets for them both. If you happen to have the time and your carpet is still out I'd really appreciate it if you could lay them in place and snap a few pics. Also the location of the hole for the shifter cable in relation to the big brace that goes across the hump if you can. If It's easier to text pictures I'll gladly send you my cell # Thanks!

Re: 73 ss owner's frame off resto project *Updated pics 3-6-13*
Thanks alley. It wasn't too hard. I can't remember off hand but I think I got the floor pans repos through opgi. Fairly straight forward welding them in. Now, the rust on the side panel and floor areas just below the rear windows-rear seat....alleyball4 wrote:nice job on the floors
