Re: My '73 build long project
Still lack 2 frame braces and driveshaft loop but with humidity time coming wanted to get it sealed.

Rear shocks mounted. Can easily remove and run a full coil over if I wish instead of air bags.

Re: My '73 build long project
Pic of getting it all aligned and tack welded for fit up.
Frame is on the ground. Still have some small stuff to finish but getting close to being ready to go back under the body. Front will lay to within 2 1/2" to ground at crossmember lowest point. Bags aren't all the way flat so with more weight prob a little lower. Will post some top and side view pics this weekend.

Re: My '73 build long project
Been a while so I'll throw up some pics. Body is back in, have a few small things to redo I can see. Got lots of sheet metal work now moving rear tubs in.

Re: My '73 build long project
Few overdue pics. Didn't like the way it was sitting so changed stuff all around on 4 link and got a height I am happy with now. Any lower and driveshaft tunnel will need to be modified and tire will touch quarter. Other pic is ride height, body not mounted so it looks crooked. Next is plumbing all the air, them patch some floors. Goal is be ready for final sanding/prep for paint by spring.

Re: My '73 build long project
And that is only a 15" rim so it will look better with an 18. Working trunk pan area also so it will hold a 13" wide rim.

Re: My '73 build long project
Ordered new trunk panels last night, started laying out tank and other stuff as well as plumbing some air lines. Have some time off on holidays so hope to burn some metal.

I am Excited to see your progress. Have you chosen what wheels and tires you are going with yet?

Re: My '73 build long project
Kinda torn at the moment between these two but leaning toward the silver to match the color scheme

Re: My '73 build long project
That already looks sweet even with the beater wheels.

Re: My '73 build long project
Dude, I am lovin those top ones!!! I was thinking about going with a more modern style wheel myself, but it seems that they are so much more expensive. Whatever I was to get would probably have to be under 200 each and the cheaper the better. Got a link to those on the top?

Wheel link.
Yup, old keystones. Were on the car when I bought it and rolled them all these years.

Re: My '73 build long project
I like the 710 Step-lip Concave. Not sure if it would fit or not, but I know it wouldn't fit my budget at around 1200 per wheel.

I didn't see a price. Was afraid to look too deep

Re: My '73 build long project
Few new pics, working on the new trunk pan and mini tub. Studied it for a while and decided easiest to do was take a sawzall and cut it all out and work from there. Drilled the spot welds all out on support rails and cleaning them up. Will weld them back in first and have something to attach the trunk pan when going back together. Hope to knock this out over the holidays. The new trunk panels fit surprisingly well.

Re: My '73 build long project
That looks good. I looked at my truck the a month or so back and found a small hole. The trunk was always solid, but it had been sitting for over 6 years.

Re: My '73 build long project
Thanks. I'm two years into it as I have time. Sometimes life happens and it sits for a bit. Should have the trunk pan finished in another week. Been welding and grinding and fitting last week getting it all lined out. Will have more pics soon.
