Wow... This is really coming along. So glad to see people progressing with their projects. I can almost hear it start and run! I think I even smell burnt rubber, oh wait, that might have been me on my way to work... lol. Great job!

Few pics outside. Have the air bag stuff all hooked up and working. Have a video but photobucket didn't seem to like it. Will try to get it posted.

1st pic is around drive height. Others are dropped. I am bottoming on driveshaft loop so prob another inch or so left but will have to see when driveshaft goes in how much clearance I actually have left. Front will drop a little more with weight in it.

What state are you in? I would love to see that car sometime with the air bags in it.

I like the car's stance. Make an account on Youtube- it's easy, just don't forget you're password. Very Happy

I'll get a number for you but I think it has a little left (another inch or so) due to bottoming on driveshaft loop. Will make final adjustment when it all goes back together. Give me a day or so, it is back in stands.....rear bag fitting had a slow leak so pulled it back out. Ordered some special loctite gel for pneumatic fittings to seal it.

That's great! Just put it back together as it is and drive it that way. Leave the wheels and don't paint it -- it looks like a mean street brawler.

The problem with that is people will think its just another pos g3.(there are plenty out there)  The ratty car on air bags would work better on a more popular (mainstream) car

Bottom of frame has just at 4" to ground but I think there is a little left. If there is room I might do drop spindles when it all comes together. Oil pan will dictate that.

wow !!! for a minute there I thought someone was showing pics of my 73, going thru the exact same process, except I had to fabricate a new rear window channel/ filler panel & weld it in. What are you doing about the enormous atrocious front inner wheel houses ??? are there a steel / smaller replacement available like in the 68-72 ????

Few more....got the shocks fabbed and mounted for the front this weekend. Now to get the fenders lined up with the doors and then ready for the not fun of sanding/roughing/smoothing.

Just finished reading this whole thread. Excellent work, Trbulnc! It's obvoius to me that you have a very clear vision of what you want out of this car. Looking forward to the finished product.

Slow update. Car is blocked in pretty good. Just high build primer, sand, look for low spots, fill, sand, repeat. Seems to go on forever then suddenly you realize it is starting to come in pretty good. Everyday is getting closer to some color.

Still need to install a panel over the rear marker light and smooth it in. This break in the heat makes it manageable for sanding.

Looks good.  Prepping for paint is hard work, it'll all pay off though.  Keep at it, you'll get there soon enough.
