Well here is my new toy. I bought the car from another member a few weeks ago. No real plans for it right now as I'm just enjoying it the way it is.

It needs some TLC around the windows. It had a black top on it when it was new. The rear window needs resealed as well. I want to find some Laguna louvers. Will 8" rallyes and 275/60/15 fit with no problems under the rear? I haven't played with chevy's for awhile. Here's my other toy.

Yes they will. I had the little post it note here at work. My plan was a 215/70-15 up front and a 275/60-15 in the rear. Possibly on an 8" wheel in the back.

OK, this is what started me on this car. This is the one I had at about 19 years old. I think the pic was taken around 88 or 89

Sorry about that comb. But having that car 25 years is cool.

Hair is over rated. Hair is for women. Real men don't need it.

You got really close to replacing your old one.
I searched for the 74 Malibu that I had at 18. It was crushed a few months before I found the last owner. Sad

I did find my current one though, and based on what the last owner of my old car told me, I'm much better off with the one I have now.

Congrats and welcome!

Thanks guys for the welcome. I really can't wait to make this car my own, But driving it now takes me right back to my old one. If it wasn't for a good friend of mine I wouldn't have this car.

Welcome. The Duster is a fine looking piece of work. That was my first car. Nothing exciting 225 slant six.

The Duster is a rare Twister model, It wears most of it's original paint. It is unrestored, just modified. It also had a 225 slant six but now has a 400 cubic inch big block now. I looked at this car day in and day out in high school as it belonged to my metal shop teacher. Me and the Duster have been together since 1999 and grown bored of it, so on to the Malibu
