To be honest i wish i never had the surgery. The second surgery i had no choice the spacers where hitting my spinal cord. They where sticking 1/8 of inch or more out if they slide out any more i would be paralyzed. And the doc acts like its nothing. The spacers moved becuase it was a new spacer being used and i was guinea pig my lawyer said as long as he fixs his mistake i cant even sue his A$$ this world is so messd up

Very sorry about the continued issues ... & the treatment you are receiving from medical professionals. Are you able to seek another opinion ... or choose other doctors? Thoughts/prayers continuing, of course....

This doc was the second opinion. Yeah this isnt whete i thought i bee at this point of my life well had a appt with my pain Clinic doc ive been getting sick to my stomach doing pt they think scar in stomach area is stuck in the muscle so i have to go see general surgeon as soon as they ll see me. I take 13 pills a day 6 of them are pain pills all i want to do is finish my car

Well 3 weeks in to physical therapy not if me or my body hate it more i get nauseated from the pain as they work the scars in my back it last about 3 to 4 hours after am done there plus just mays me so sore at it am trying but god this sucks went to byron couple weeks ago i dont know what i was thinking what should have been hour. And 20 min. Drive turned into 3 hours of hell on my back. And i promised limey i returned his rim should have charged you. Rent lol. And the drive home was a nitemare. Ill just say i was stupid for going am not able to drive till doc clears me i just dont list well but i learned dont be stupid

I dont feel like ive progressed had pt. Monday at 2pm my back is still aching from it been using heating pad i jnow its going to take time but tired of poping pills narco s and oxycoton to get through a day. Suxs keep wanting to go in my garage and clean it up car a mess engine on a stand and at thus rate it be years before i can get to it you. Feel it's rotting away

Well another day of pt spend next day being in pain couldnt get out of bed till 2pm need to talk to physical therapist on friday. Tired of hurting. Hope they listen

Well 4 weeks of physical therapy still get sick when massage scar near my spine still in tons of pain. But as i see this is going to be my life cant wait to move away from Illinois going to move to alabama nice warm area this cold suxs. But i ll deal with it

Well i go to back surgeon on tuesday physical therapist asked doc to do mri. To see if nerves are damaged by my excessive scars from two surgerys. There trying to findout why am still in so much pain and why i get nauseated when the massage around my scars plus i still cant very long i r stabd very long. Tired of feeling so useless

Well keep you all posted. I go to my back surgeon. Tuesday at 430 hope he listen and doesnt start thinking aboyt his next patients thats the problem with docs. These days but trying to clean my garage a bit i want or need to do some stuff to my car. Like to get motor in it. Fix some wires. Invite some people over try to get whoa nelly done

Well went to back surgeon basically he was a A$$ told me didnt understand why am still in pain or why i get nauseaed when they massage my scars he told me if am still this way in 2 months that he ll be done with me and order functional capacity test saud theres n i thing he can do for me i was so pissed i couldnt believe he really saud that was in shock

Medicine is like every other profession -- there are people who are good at it and there are people who suck. Finding a good doctor is like finding a good mechanic, lawyer, etc. You may have to go through a few before you find a good one. Time for a second opinion.

And here lies my problem this doctor was my second opinion i had a slow doctor before him this doc is considered one of the best and I feel that he was just trying to protect himself not worried about his patients my physical therapist was shocked she asked for mri to help clear things up he did xray and nothing more how can u see nerves possible stuck in scar from xray you cant am scared that this going to be my life consumed by pain stuck taking pills everyday

Then it's time for a third opinion.

CSB: My mother-in-law went to a highly respected cardiologist, who put her on some drug as a 'preventative measure'. It made her sick all the time. After my wife went with her and confronted him about it, he told her the benefits of taking it were actually negligible, but if she refused to take it, he would no longer treat her. So she found a different cardiologist who told her her heart was in fine shape. Turned out later that the drug the previous guy had her on was one that the drug companies give huge kickbacks to doctors for prescribing.

Bottom line -- they're not all good, and worse, they're not all ethical. Keep looking until you find someone who's willing to actually investigate instead of just shrug their shoulders.

Cant get 3rd option because this is workman's comp u get 2 opinions are two doctors that is it they don't give you options have a third look at I had almost $400,000 for the surgery this Dr made playing money off of me with every damn doctors visit didn't even let you he won't prescribe pills I have to go to a pain clinic for that I guess its just getting old trying to deal with all this I mean in the long run this will give me more money through workmans comp settlement than anything else just means I wull be more disabled

It's too bad a 3rd opinion is not an option for you..... I count myself lucky in terms of doctors, for the most part. The Medicaid-appointed doctors aren't so great, but the ones I had previously, along with my cardiologist who kept me despite the Medicaid plan, have all been very good. Thoughts/prayers continuing......

Am still trying to find the brite side of all this but am so dam angry tired of being weak and tired cant do much my car is just sitting in garage rusting away my people around me i wont let work on my car and dont have money to pay some one and i really dont want to sell it ive lived alot of my life in that car. Still have alot of dream to fulfill with it
