Hello from new member
Just joined. My project is a 75 350 Chevelle Malibu Ive had since college in the 80s. It's in sad shape now mechanically but I'm slowly working on it as I have time. My goal to be able to drive it daily but still have performance.

Not yet. Sort of embarrassing right now. I'll send when I have an 'After' to go with the 'Before'.

Re: Hello from new member
There's no worries about "embarrassing" pics around here, we enjoy ALL pics of our A body's,even if they need some love. We leave the "judging" to the G2 fans, they do that enough already! Welcome aboard!

X2. No such thing as embarrassing. Unless it's got donk wheels.

....or standing next to it wearing a speedo, THAT would be embarrassing!

lol. I laughed out loud for real when I read that. I am sure that everyone where I work was like, what is he laughing at.
Welcome to the site. I love to see the pics of where you are starting from. I like to look at a car and dream of what it could be. I am in the same boat with your on for a sporty daily driver. I want to be able to drive it everyday as I currently do, but make it sound like it would eat you alive if you got too close.
Sorry to ramble. Welcome aboard!

The only embarrassing photo is of a crushed car in my opinion.
Welcome

Re: Hello from new member
I really like the 'Bank Robbers Special on Youtube. Also the Bobby Allison NASCAR Chevelle since the base color is that copperish gold. But no chance of a speedo, sorry.

Re: Hello from new member
Looks to be in decent shape, I'm from Ohio so the fact that it has lower fenders and the doors aren't "flapping" looks good in my eyes.

Re: Hello from new member
I like the '80's camaro wheels. I had a set Years ago, but never used them. Did you add the '74 headlight buckets?

Re: Hello from new member
The headlights are original as far as I know. I got it with 15000 miles in very good shape...get this...from an old lady from Pasadena...Texas. Needless to day I didn't take very good care of it. It has 78000 original miles now.

Re: Hello from new member
I always thought (all) '75's had the different style buckets. The same ones base models used through '77. I guess there were exceptions.

1975 Chevelle Malibu Album
Maybe it's an early 1975. I'll check out the VIN.

Re: Hello from new member
That or maybe base models (I assume that's what you have by the picture) used the previous years parts. IMHO the '74 style buckets look better that the '75 up do.

Re: Hello from new member
Hay that looks very promising. I too like the early 80's Camaro rims. I've got a set I'm working on right now in my spare time. Them and some big rubber will make her look very mean. I was going to paint mine glossy black, sand down the flats to bare aluminium, then clear coat them. What were you planning?
