It's crunch time for me. Much to accomplish before that tarp becomes permanent. If I had those nice wheels I'd keep em warm too. I won't care too much about my rims until I restore or replace them.

i hate that its has to sit outside,but not to much snow gets on it. maybe next year me and the fiance? will have our own house with a BIG man cave.... she did promise me Jacking

We've had a decent stretch over the past week or so but when it rains here lately it's like 10" @ a whack! LOL. I left the car uncovered the other night and it rained overnight...needless to say water go in the car due to the little leaks in the window channels that I have not had time to get around to fixing. I'd love a place like that for Mali. I might have to spring for a portable carport to get me through these darn New England winters. santa

My Malibu is stored in an aircraft hangar, with a good cover on it. Too bad I rarely have it on the road........thought about selling it in recent months...
If it was an airplane, we would call it a "hangar queen" Very Happy

we usually hit the -55C where I'm at M8. I finally got my garge insluted and drywalled and a heater in it so the Chevy will have a warm bed this winter. I gotta admit though...she sat in the garage all last winter with no heat and I even left the battery in it and she went first bump when I took her out in May......CHEVY's RULE !!!

Bah ... my "winter prep" is coming earlier than I'd like due to my surgery. I don't mind the snow, but I hate the cold and salt that follows it everywhere...lol.

Mine will be leaving later this week for a long winters rest at the interior shop. Nice heated and when she comes back will look like new. Very Happy

Only way I get by keeping my rides in the garage and the daily drivers (including the wife's) outside is I am EXPECTED to be the first one out in the morning to warm up her car and scrape ice/snow off of it. For the past 10 yrs or so, the winters were pretty mild and it wasn't such a big deal. But, with all the continuos snow we had last year throughout the entire winter, it got to be a real p.i.t.a.

temps rarely fall below freezing during the daytime in my hometown, so i can pretty much drive the car troughout the winter. i just keep it under our terrace because i have a leak in the trunk.

i`m attending university in a capital city some 60 miles from my home and it sucks here during the winter. its all foggy and cold and snowy, really depressing.

I am also the shoveler, snow thrower, ice scraper, ice melt puttin' down, car warmer-upper dude. Sucks to be the man of the house sometimes!

You got that right! Love it when the wifey starts talking about how pretty the snow is once the season arrives. Suppose it is if you could just sit inside the house and enjoy the sight knowing yours truly will shovel/snowblow all that "pretty" snow.

LOL! My favorite is when the plow comes around the corner after I've spent an hour clearing the end of the driveway to only throw in another 10" so I can start over!!! Most of the storms last winter I couldn't keep up and the poor snowblower is on it's last legs. Then the better half half asks me "What took you so long?" as she and my two boys are nice and warm inside.

Up here in Fort McMUrray Alberta last year when it was -55C I seen a littlle brass monkey running around lookin for something I think he froze off.....not quite sure what it was but in the spring I found a little set of brass balls hhhhmmmmm !!!!

Here we can do that, since the city shuts down or a day or two if we get much snow and ice, we got no plows, blowers or shovels.

If mine is out and it gets iced on, it'll sit there till it thaws, otherwise if I know its going to be bad I'll put it in the garage if its out.
