Luckily I live in AZ, so I can still work on my Monte! Right now its at a friends house getting the minor floor rust patched (it had bad weatherstripping for years, the rest of the car is spotless!) Then I am going to start putting the new interior in it. Right now its completely stripped except the driver bucket seat, dash, and shifter on the floor. I've got tons of NOS and like NOS parts. Its going from stock tan/brown to BLACK with some possible minor white accents. I'm adding a couple options if I can get them and am doing this as best as I can to my preference of what I think is "perfect". I want this job to be final. The only thing I will not have done right away are the seats front and rear, and the upper door panels. they need upholstry work and its going to be expensive, so thats gotta wait.. then hopefully spring time I can finish the few extra toys on the engine.

I too live in Tucson AZ, and working on cars in "winter" is way better then the summer LOL.

right now i have some minor projects, nothing too big yet.

right now i'm in the middle of coverting the headlights to a H4 bulbs. bought 2 kits off ebay and there pretty nice. I'm not liking the cool blue bulbs that come with it, but they will do for right now.

Here's one side installed...... cars alittle dusty Very Happy

Then for beginning of next year, I will be redoing the whole interior.

Got a pair of buckets from a 2007 Malibu, cost me lunch with my friend Very Happy. I need to start figuring how to install them and where exactly they are going to sit at

Tonight I'm going to see how well a couple heat bulbs from Home Depot and a couple trouble lights will warm up my 10x20 storage unit. If I can get it up a few degrees I have a long list carrying over from this summer.

Lighten the bumpers/sink in.
Cut a coil off the front.
Blow a breaker in my 1 extension cord unit.
Cut dead weight out of doors.
Finish never ending exhaust struggle.
Fabricate my own door top/window felt trim. (we'll see)
Pee in an ice tea jug.
Polish up the Keystones so I can sell them off.
Finish plumbing oil accumulator and cooler.
Smoke a million cigarettes.

I use one of those 500 watt quartz floodlights, it will warm better than one of these cheap 1500 watt electric heaters will. But, when you are working on cold concrete the only way you can really get warm is to burn the garage down. JB

I'm with you there. Unfortunately I don't even have room for a heater. Those heating flood lights will screw in a cheap tin clamp on deal and I can hang those off the walls easy. Also will be easy on the breaker that I run my extension cord from 3 bays down!

I did however strike gold when I snagged a funky old heating blanket for the shop... That's great to lay over the cold concrete!

Who would have thought the "live fast/die young" guy couldn't wait to buy a place of his own so he can occupy a pole barn!

you got your car in a 10x20 building? you must not have much room in there as we have a 12x25 storage building for our shop and its barely enough room to have the car in and work around.

Tommy,
I havent seen the truck in a while ,looks great ,the trailer too,you should build them and sell them. For winter santa is bringing me a set of Spohn rear trailing bars for the 77. That pretty much it.
