rust hole repair
what would you guys do about this? NOT BONDO! lol, either a lower 1/4 panel replacement or a patch panel? i can get a local body shop to come out to my house and patch it for $250-$300. or ill just replace the whole thing and thats about double.

im thinking about replacing it. new front floor pans plus new 1/4 panels on both sides?

honestly corey i wouldnt bu\y the whole quarter panel unless its rusty on the bottom of the quarters behind the back wheels
what you could do is get a thin piece of sheet metal and put it over the rusty hole and shape it the best you can to where all sides will be welded on clean (not rusty) metal, then when it is perfect you can cut out the old rust and put the new one on there with sheet metal screws until you can get ahold of a welder, look up how to repair rust holes and youll learn theres no point in buying the whole quarter

Why not try to find another in a junkyard and cut that section out a bit bigger then weld it onto yours.

nope ive searched the junkyars here, they get picked to fast never seena g3 velle only a few elkys and they are usually rusted to crap

well the section your looking for is also on a elky lol so see if you can find one or something
there was someone on here that was working on that 77 impala or something and he repaired the rust down there and behind the wheels one of you guys know what im talking about
i think the title of the post was 77 impala coupe or something its white

here it is look at all the pictures and stuff the guy tells you how to repair it i am going to have a lot of work to do on my malibu so i feel your pain lol
