where's the hole go? SBC
Looking for an alternate place to run an oil accumulator other than the cooler lines.
There is a hole with an allen head plug fitting in the side of the block just above the oil filter boss.
It's on the vertical face, about 2 inches up from the horizontal oil filter pad.
Anyone tell me if this is a direct shot to an oil gallery? Pressure side? Return side?

I'm not sure if it is a direct shot or not, but that's where I installed my oil pressure sending unit. Works great, so I would assume it is the pressure side.

That was my guess too... I can return anything at Summit, but the local performance parts depot is a PITA on returns... I guess I'll give 1/4 a shot.
Thanks Derrik, I didn't even have to cart your wheels across 4 state lines to get some help.... Just kidding goonie.
