I bought mine in the 80s from a company down south called Fibremotive. I think they went out of business in the early 90s.

The one on the 73 looks ok ,cant be too high, ruins the line of the car. I like Joes L88,if i ever get a 2nd gen Camaro its getting one.

I bought a winter beater that had a US Body heavy weight hood on it.  
It wasn't bad, used oem latch & hinges with different springs.
Actually it was better than all the panels on the rest of the car.
I didn't prep it or paint it but it got looked over pretty close when being sold.

Summit Racing also sells US Body hoods and panels so they can't suck that bad.

How many choices are actually out there for 73-77 Monte Carlo or Chevelle?  Not many.
