US body source has them. I think they are located in Florida, so you might be able to pick it up and skip the huge shipping expence.

Re: WERE CAN I GET A COWL HOOD?
There are many places that have cowl hoods for G3 cars, the trouble is finding one that is not junk. They all need work to finish them out and I have heard for years that Goodmark is bringing out a all metal cowl hood, but they have not as of yet. I will list several, but can not guarentee quality. It would have to be from a '73/77 chevelle or elcamino.

Re: WERE CAN I GET A COWL HOOD?
I could use a couple inches on top there, to use a slightly taller Edelbrock 2115 manifold on my Caddy engine, but I just don't want a fiberglass hassle.....
A metal hood, if Good Mark gets around to making them, would be worth more money, just to get away from the glass-hassle.

Re: WERE CAN I GET A COWL HOOD?
Yeah, but a steel hood is HEAVY. Just remember to buy a bolt on hood instead of a pin on hood. It is best, of course, to pin it down also for extra safety.pila wrote:I could use a couple inches on top there, to use a slightly taller Edelbrock 2115 manifold on my Caddy engine, but I just don't want a fiberglass hassle.....

Re: WERE CAN I GET A COWL HOOD?
I agree about our steel hoods being heavy......
I have an extra hood, so if I decide later to build a scoop on it from steel, it should be "interesting"
