Rear Shock Mounting Studs
Besides the Original Parts Group (OPG), does anyone know where I can find/buy a set of new rear shock mounting studs?

Re: Rear Shock Mounting Studs
I'd have to say they are the same. When I ran those horrible 73-77 ladder bars back in the 80's I oblonged the whole and even ripped it open on the rear quite a few times.
I would just pick one of those studs up at the auto parts store and they all fit.
Ladder bars sure look cool on cars but who designed it to bolt to the shock mount for our cars?? Not a good design.

I checked the help section of every part store in my area, no luck.

Re: Rear Shock Mounting Studs
I know, I figured it should be something easy to find. Â
I went to all the stores, I even brought a sample to show them, all the employees looked at me like I was on crack.

Re: Rear Shock Mounting Studs
I bought cheap shocks and they came with the lower bolts, I know I also bought a pack of bolts as well from the chain auto parts store.

Re: Rear Shock Mounting Studs
I bought air shocks for my Elco, Monroe, and those studs came with them. I suppose they didn't want the shocks mounted on questionable studs....
