New to the forum from Worcester MA
Hi all, Adam here from Worcester MA. I have a '76 Grand Prix that isn't in bad shape, and drive it to local cruise nights in the spring and summer. I got the car last spring for $2000. It has the 400, but only with the Rochester 2bbl carb, and TH400 trans. After driving it for awhile the transmission went, so I put in a rebuilt Chevy TH400 with shift kit, 2500 stall converter, and finned pan, $800 on craigslist. I used the Trans-Dapt BOP converter that summit sells and it bolted up perfectly. I have an Edelbrock 1406 4 bbl, and RPM Performer intake I plan on putting on this winter. I'm also working on cosmetics and suspension. The T-Tops leak like a sieve, no luck on finding new seals though. Looking forward to being a member here!

T-Top seals
Try Eckler's.com for your needed replacement parts. They are producing a lot of hard to find parts for our era cars; the quality of their parts are second to none.
Hope the lead is helpful for you.

Re: New to the forum from Worcester MA
Nice car. Love the T-tops.
Arent those Hurst T-tops?
wont weather seals fit from a Trans Am?
I imagine they might have to be made longer down the A and B pillars. The typical seals from Metro etc glue very easily. It would be pretty expensive, but you could almost certainly put in new seals with minor customization.
