Actually imperials has swivel seats first in the late '50's/early '60's.

Only you didn't have a choice -- they were mechanically linked to the door, and the more you opened the door, the more they swiveled outward.

The wrist-twist and the illuminated tires were new for me. What year was LSD invented again?

The Robin only had 3 wheels in order to avoid Britain's car tax, as it was then classified a motorcycle, which paid a lot less tax. But I personally think it was built just so Top Gear could make fun of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQh56geU0X8
