Strange phone call

Posting this out here to see if anyone can help..

Received 2 phone calls last night from a Jim in Rochester, IL looking to buy a part that I have for sale. I found this odd because I don't list my number in any sales ads (to my knowledge) due our Sprint account being hacked a few years back. Regardless, he said he saw my part on eBay which I don't ever recall listing this part on eBay. During the course of the conversation he told me he is working on 1973 El Camino and that he's 87 years old (more power to him). He didn't sound very computer savvy which I did not expect which makes this a bit weirder..

I'm just trying to put two and two together with how he got my contact info and was hoping someone out here may know who he is..

I know how he feels..I'm not PC savy either Very Happy

But I'm only 85... And maybe he found your info in a site like this one, and didn't remember where he got it..( I know the feeling)... CRS ya know...

There's a few guys here that wheel and deal heavily in parts.

At least one very close to that area.

If you had it posted here at one time or another, your info may have been passed along.
