Wheel Decision Empty Wheel Decision

Post by driveit Wed Jun 18, 2014 9:47 am

Since I got my new tires put on I have been noticing more of a shake in the steering wheel. I think that they put the rear wheels on the front of the car. They told me that all four wheels were a bit warped, but that the ones currently on the front were very badly warped. My uncle has a couple more rally wheels, but they would need some extreme cleaning and refurbishing and I don't even know if they are warped or not. I also have a set of 15 inch Centerline wheels though I am not sure I would like them on my car as good. What you guys think, check and clean up the rallys or swap to the Centerlines?

Also does anyone have any pics of a G3 Chevelle with Centerline wheels? If you do post as many as you can so I can check em out. Thanks!

I am liking Toms 74. The front end reminds me of Wally's Laguna.

Yea use Plasti dip to get that black that way if you decide to sell the wheels you just peel the rubberized paint off no damage to the wheels what so ever and even helps protect them in a way

Walmart has it also by the rustoleum spray can dept towards bottom has a Clear Coat to make a little more shine to it as well I WOULD advise getting that as well unless you want the flat black look.

Ok thanks.  I like those rims with the black Limey. I think I will try that.  I may take the wheels and have someone check them before hand to make sure that they are still good.
