Some people on craigslist just suck.replied to an add for a cutlass and still no responce guy had no phone listed so email was the only option for finding anything out. But week and a half later no reply wtf

Sometimes there's a good reason. Don't give up, just send him a reminder email, who knows. You might end up with a good deal after all.

What I find with craigslist is that it depends on the persons computer. If a person has no idea as to their span settings, they dont get the email.

I have a gmail and a comcast email. I send a reply from both of them. One or the other usually gets tossed into a spam folder. I tell the person that I sent them 2 emails from different addresses and they usually say they only got one.

All depends on your email address. If its something "obscure" it usually gets tossed into the spam folder.

Just a thought.

Well the guy with the 77 is rude no other photos won't discribe the interior other then it's a 77 and needs restored the engine is what's shot and aked about rust and he said look at the pictures but ya can't tell in them

Looks nice. I've never seen chrome sport mirrors. Aftermarket? I do agree the roof does look a little strange, but since most cutlass are notch backs that may be why.

i have a set of those mirrors. took them off a 74-5 cutty back in 1985.they are very much stock bullet sport mirrors,just chromed out.

This is why Its throwing me the Rear window is not the regular Concave like the Montes have its the fastback Type rear window Makes me wonder if its a Y76 optioned car or a hurst that someone redid and just made it a regular cutty for they couldn't find or afford to make it back into the real thing ??

A friend of mine has a '74 h/o pace car that has the fast back roof. Personally I prefer the fastback look over the notch back.

I've never seen those kind of seats Sam...& I love "S" type Cutlass'. Not to say they weren't available but maybe they've been refurbished- they look pretty clean & new in the pic. Even if they're not stock, whoever did them over did a darn nice job.

My Buddys h/o has the same seats but his are white vinyl with a greyish checkerboard cloth insert. He says they're h/o specific, but I don't believe half of what he says. Jacking

Find the right upholstery shop and they'll do 'em any way you want. I had mine done with vinyl side bolsters, but cloth in the center to match the back seat. Came out super nice. The trick is finding someone who understands them. When I finally found the right guy, he said, "Yeah, nobody else knows how to do them f!@#ers." Smile

Most of the H/O (& some 442) seats were either white or black with reversible inserts that were white on one side & black on the other. I've never seen that pattern but- that's not to say they weren't an option.

I've seen funky patterns on the bench seats & split benches from Chevy/Buick/Olds/Pontiac & Cadillac from the era- most were velour or a combo of leather with velour or "hounds-tooth" on the inside. Maybe it's an "Olds '73 only thing"? LOL

The seats are definitely cool. Is the car a 73 Sam?
