I'm excited to have found this great crowd of '73-77's! I'm looking forward to all this forum has to offer as well as sharing information regarding our G3s. Twenty years ago I bought my $1,000 '76 with 78,000 one family miles for daily transportation & boat towing. Now days with 180,000 (suspension/drivetrain & body reworked) its just used on weekends & to cruise around the lake.

Thanks for your welcome. I like what I see within these forums. I'm originally from Perry & currently for the last 15yrs my wife & I have lived in Johnston. Which is just NW of Des Moines. I will Hi G3 Members....from IA Dscn2015

Well I see my 1st attempt worked! I'm just not sure if I can post multiple pics. I'll give it a shot with an interior & under hood pic to answer Graham's question. Thanks for the compliment on the wheels. Those were my one my first few aftermarket purchase 15yrs ago when I realized I really liked the car outside of daily transportation.

Mine is a '77. The car is close to Iowa City at my parents house and I live in Indianapolis, IN. Your car looks very clean and nice, good work!

I grew up in Norwalk (just south of the D.M. airport). Went to ISU in Ames and my roommate was from Perry...so, know the area well. Got married and followed the wife to her home state of MN. Always miss the good folks of Iowa, though.

Thanks for your welcomes & compliments guys! JRB...funny how snow was the greatest thing when we are kids...but not so much anymore after 40 some years.
Budman...yes I'm running 8.5 American Racing Indy slots with 295/50/15s on all 4. Fifteen years ago I purchased these wheels new wanting to play off of our wide G3 bodies to improve their stance. Its amazing how much aftermarket wheels or Chevy Rallies change the look & attitude of our G3s. Especially if your G3 had factory 6 inch rims with hubcaps like mine once had.
