If you're looking for cheap, then get a new set of factoryreplacement springs and cut them down. Or, you can get a set of lowering springs that have a firmer spring rate. It depends on what kind of ride qualtiy you want.

Of course you can. New is optional. I only say to use new springs because older ones sag a little bit and might not give you a decent ride quality once you cut them.

Get a set of springs for a 6 cylinder car with no AC on it and cut off one coil. That way you will not have as harsh a ride as with the heavier springs. JB

Drop spindles might mess up your suspension geometry. New springs are about 100 bucks for a pair, and the lowering ones like what I have where about 20 dollars more for each pair. Either way shouldn't be too expensive if you know what to look for.

Those are the fronts that I got. They've gone up in price a little bit since I bought mine though. I will say that they do work very well on the car...it sits right, and the ride isn't bad at all.

They do have diferent lowering rate springs. Those were the first ones that came up for me. All of that stuff should be on Summit. You also need to remember that the number that they show is an average and doesn't really factor in spring sag.

How would drop spindles mess with suspension geometry? Springs would affect it more than spindles. Drop spindles are the same physical size as factory most of the time with only the spindle itself being moved upwards. Dropped springs are going to be shorter & stiffer. Spindles are always the preferred method if you choose to keep factory ride quality. With springs, an alignment is going to be required, spring travel will be reduced, probably have to either change or adjust bump stops as well. On our cars it's not like we are limited with travel, but just something to think about when debating between the two.

Adjustable QA1 coil-overs - Get you whatever ride height you want. Of course, you do need to have it alligned, but they work awesome. 1000 times better than cutting the springs (I know from experience).

ive pretty much ruled out cutting the springs and am leaning toward drop spindles. would love to have coil overs but thats a little too much money.
