Need opinions
Was going to do my 77 Salon all flat black with matching fiberglass bumpers and all black trim, but now I'm getting other ideas. I came up with either gloss black with matching glass bumpers and all black trim, gloss black with chrome bumpers and trim, WRX blue with matching bumpers and chrome trim, or the same blue with chrome bumpers.I had my daughter photoshop some pics, not EXACTLY what I want, but close enough....whaddya think?

Re: Need opinions
Blue/chrome or Black/chrome if going gloss black. If you go flat black, then black out everything.

Gloss black everything.. Flat black is way overdone, Leave it for the hot rod beater crowd.

Re: Need opinions
Thanks for the replies. I like the chrome bumpers with either color myself, problem is I don't have a front bumper at all, and the rear ain't in great shape. Being that people want about a million dollars for a decent one around here, fiberglass seems to be the easiest route for me. With the all gloss black, I was hoping it would resemble a GNX. My biggest concern is the blue will look too "ghetto", don't want it looking loke a DONK.

That's probably a good idea & it gets rid of the extra weight! With the all gloss black, I was hoping it would resemble a GNX. I vote all blacked out!

Re: Need opinions
No flat black! I like lots of chrome, especially with gloss black. Just stick with 18 inch or less wheels and it will be alright. JB

Re: Need opinions
I think gloss black/black bumpers has won out, it'll have some chrome(headlight trim, window trim). As far as wheels, it currently has 15s on it and they will stay. this is it in it's curent condition.Oh and as for black showing bodywork, it has all new (25 yrs ago) quarters, door skins, and fenders...it's pretty straight.

Re: Need opinions
Never saw a Cutlass with blanked out quarter windows before. It actually looks good. Black would definitely be a better choice with those wheels IMO.
