Windshield wipers Empty Windshield wipers

Post by wokrdan AKA BU Balls Thu Dec 10, 2009 10:41 pm

So I've got an off topic question, if anyone can help. After that monsterous snow storm yesterday, I attempted to run the windshield wipers on my F-150 to clear the snow. The problem is, only the driver's side moved. Now, the driver's side is the only one that works. The passenger side attempts to, and with a little help, it gets going, but then the driver's side will swing off the side of the car. I've tried moving them in different positions, but none are working.

the arm attatching the two arms might be broken or the bolt holding them together could be getting loose.

also from the weight of the snow they could have strpped the inner gears ( where the arms go onto the shaft itself) they are the same set up as diveshaft's LIKE lil ribs that connect and intertwine

easy to picture hard as hell to describe LMAO
