75 differential
does anyone know the correct part number for the front pinion seal on the 8.5 10 bolt? Has anyone seen one without a flange?

Re: 75 differential
The flange shouldn't make any difference. It's usually there to let you know when it's completely installed.

I guess I can go ahead then......it just doesn't make sense to change something for no reason. With no flange, my yoke is going to be that much closer to the housing and will change the tension on my crush sleeve (reusing old one) by that much, no?

Re: 75 differential
Seal does not change the position of the yoke at all. The crush sleeve is affected by the pinion and the bearings. The seal has no impact.
