Re: Laguna Logo Question
Limey, I believe those are correct for 74 Lagunas only. They also used those for 73 Chevelles and El Caminos. Would love to have a pair of those that you got. Want to trade for a pair of 76 panels lol?

Re: Laguna Logo Question
Correct, The above door panels were on a 1974 Laguna, same as the 1973 Chevelle SS and el Camino SS. In the 1974 Dealers catalog it shows the name "Laguna" above the wood grain strip and states special door panel i.D. Production cars did not have it after all. The 1976 Lagunas all shared the big buttons as the Malibu Classic, el Camino Classic and Super Sport option. 1975 was the best interior door panel. Not only does it have the S-3 Identification, it also has the wood grain Oval. Notice it is in the shape of a Nascar Speedway- really a neat nod to Racing.

Re: Laguna Logo Question
Very interesting, I didn't know the door emblems were only on 75s.

You know g3chevy, if that’s even your real name, I would really like to be your friend. I have read your post over the years and you seem very knowledgeable and quite frankly, a genuinely good hearted person. In the times that we live in, it’s so refreshing to fine someone with such great character, impeccable intellect, and such a great car guy all rolled up in one big sushi roll of awesome. I doff my topper to you sir.

You must be mistaken. I believe you are referring to my twin. Of course, I am the evil twin. And I'm sure "doffing your topper" is illegal in the city limits of Denver.
