E-Brake cable rubbing floor board
Call me crazy but this is bothering me. Ive dustless blasted my entire car including the bottom. I sprayed the bottom with satin epoxy and it looks great. All my E-brake cables have been installed some time ago and I put a towel between the cable and floor board that it rubs on under the rear seat. I havent used the E-brake yet (and I have to with the 4 speed) for a fear of ruining the epoxy back there.
Im thinking of slicing a piece of 1/4" polyethylene tubing down one side and snapping it over the cable. Just long enough for the rubbing area. That way the tubing will be pressing against the epoxy floor and the cable can still do its thing.
Anyone have any other ideas on how to protect the floor? Thanks guys.
