It’s time for a convertible Laguna. That would be a cool project. That guy has several cars. I think he has one to many 0’s on the price of that car.

Vinyl can be a curse on these cars for sure, providing they sat outside a lot in their life time. Starting in the 60's, a car Had to have a vinyl top, or at least the factory thought so...i remember as a kid seeing some of the early model Corvairs with a sprayed on :Vinyl Top". If a nice used car did not sell in a few weeks, the Dealer would send it out to the local trim shop and have a vinyl top put on to help it sell. On our G3 cars, if GM would have painted them first, then put on the top, it would have solved a lot of problems, but they primed them only, then the top went on after the primer. Remember, they weren't building these cars to last for 50 years, it was just another car coming down the assembly line, you drove it 4 or 5 years got rid of it and bought another one. I just put a complete roof on my 75 Laguna because of water damage. I am thinking maybe painting the Sport roof white instead of the vinyl top in half white. It would still have the two tone look to match the lower body striping. Not a big fan on vinyl tops...unless you have a big Buick or Cadillac, to me it suits the upper end of GM motor cars-Mitch
