Lagunas on Columbo
My wife and I have gone back and are working our way through "Columbo" on Amazon prime.
The cars in the show are fantastic: a nice smattering of Rolls Royces, couple Jags, even the "Two Lane Blacktop" '70 Judge has made a couple appearances.
Last night was the best: a whole fleet of white/red '74 Lagunas.
The premise is that a murder has taken place at a "think tank", and they have this whole fleet of vehicles that have been "converted to Natural Gas" power. Probably 5 or 6 Chevelles and a couple non-descript Mopars.
Fortunately the murder weapon was a little Triumph, rather than one of the Lagunas.
Season 3, Episode 6: "Mind over Mayhem".

Re: Lagunas on Columbo
I see the run time is listed as 1 hour 13 minutes.
Anybody remember how they did that back in the day? Was that scheduled for 2 hours so there were 47 minutes of commercials across that span?
Or scheduled for 90 minutes with 17 minutes of commercials?

I saw that scene a few years ago, doing the same as you and watching Columbo. Columbo was part of a series that rotated other characters (McCloud was one), and was a 90 minute show.
