Going from a 77 malibu dual headlight to a 74 s3 laguna front end off of a 74 laguna s3 el camino anything I should know any issues I will run into?

Grab the headlight harness if you can. Will make things a bit easier.

I swapped my 76 front end for a 74 (non Laguna). It was a very easy bolt on bolt off affair. I would imagine it wouldn't be much different for the Laguna nose, except you have to remove the bumper too. I didn't change the headlight harness though but I guess I should if I can find one.

Post some pics of the swap. The 74 Laguna front end is my favorite G3 front end.

This is what I have currently has a 305 with 115000 miles but just picked up a 396/402 out of a 72 chevelle

Looks like a great Malibu. The Laguna nose should look awesome and a 396 will move out nicely.

Laguna noses can be a bit tricky to get lined up from what I've heard. Make sure you get ALL the brackets that mount it to the radiator support as well as the ones that bolt the fenders to the nose.

Big block will do nicely but not without better gears. Gears are the best bang for the buck regardless big or small block.
