Help identify this logo
Can anyone tell me what this logo on the b-pillar is?
I need to replicate it.

Re: Help identify this logo
I looked at a lot of stills and short takes from the movie but did not get a glimpse of that logo. It is clearly not present on any of the stunt versions, such as the one that goes into the pool. It is also not on the Burt Reynolds repro or the toy models. I suppose you have already watched the whole movie for other shots of the side of the car? If so, the only other thing I can think of is to track down caches of stills taken on site by publicity or actors. Or shoot Terry Bradshaw an email. Maybe he remembers.

Re: Help identify this logo
I can hardly tell the cars apart... 🙈 in the scene outside the conference, it’s a Monte Carlo when viewed from outside the building, but a Laguna when viewed from inside the building.
I already spent countless hours searching the movie for shots of the Monte Carlo prior to getting painted grey.
So far I have only found the Monte in the scene from outside the conference. At first when Bradshaw is at the front fender and after when is squatting next to Tillis at the drivers doors. Oh yeah and at first before they take a left and hit the pool.
You wouldn’t happen to know if any other shots of the car?
Writing Bradshaw ain’t a bad idea!
I have a feeling that logo has nothing to do with nascar or racing. Could be anything. I was hopping someone american would recognize it

Re: Help identify this logo
I’m guessing you are right that it likely is not a nascar thing but some firefighters association or something like that. You could post the question to all kinds of different places and you might get lucky. Something like reddit with lots of users. The chevelle forum too.

I’ll try one of the Camaro sites. They have a lot of users.
Thanks!

Re: Help identify this logo
Case closed. Mr. Big Red Too pulled some strings, even talked to a fella that was actually in the game back then, and found that the decal says “I race for muscular dystrophy”

Very good. I'd be proud to have that on my car.

I’m having my decal guy make a few. You want a couple too? Just pay a few bucks for shipping.
