Rear spring question
Does anyone have a factory service manual for a 75 Malibu? I need to know what it says about the positioning of the pigtails for the rear springs. I don't know what's up but I've narrowed my problem down to the passenger side sitting a half inch lower. I know they sealed to have seated just fine and I believe I have them pointed the same way.

Re: Rear spring question
I just looked it up...the manual says that the cut-off top end of the coil spring is aligned parallel with the center line of the vehicle, and up to 90 degrees past that. Seems like a lot of latitude for the top cut-off end to be positioned, as long as it's coil is toward the rear ...
If that doesn't help, I'll scan the page & see if I can post it...

Thanks. That gives me something to go off of. If I read that right the cut off end can go up to 90 degrees away from the center never inward.
