Where have you found build sheet
In another topic there was a lot of discussions about the whereabouts of build sheets from different assembly line locations. I have my first El Camino's build sheet that was built in Fremont. It was under the seat. I have not been able to find one on my current El Camino that was built in Arlington. Without rear panels and a rear seat, it limits the places to look for it. I don't plan on removing the gas tank just to look for one. Where are some other places you found yours? Maybe we could start a list of the common places each assembly line left them.

Behind the top half of the door panel and also on the top of the gas tank. Suprising the one on the tank was still about 99% legible after 30 years in a snowing rainy corner of washington state.

My car was built in Baltimore and I found the sheet behind the upright portion of the back seat. The part you lean back on.

My 75 Laguna was built in Arlington. The build sheet was on top of the gas tank. It was in fairly good condition with only a few items not readable.

Good idea to clarify the plant. My 75 Laguna was built in Fremont and had the build sheet on the tank and back of the door panel... don't remember right or left.

Re: Where have you found build sheet
Mine was found behind the passenger side rear upper panel. Built in 77 at the Doraville/Atlanta plant. I never found my build sheet for my other 77, it was either found before I got the car or the elements got to it since the car was so rusty.

I had a '76 EC out of Baltimore, and found it tucked between the seat springs and foam on the drivers side.
