New Guy From Ohio Here! 74 Laguna S-3
Hello from Ohio!
I just recently bought another 1974 Laguna S-3. I've owned two other 74's in the past, but unfortunately sold them. This car is a Canadian (Oshawa) car. It's a 350 2 barrel car that is definitely a survivor. It has 122,000 miles on it, but has been garaged the vast majority of it's life. I think the car was in Chicago until 1999 when the previous owner bought it and drove it home to Oklahoma. Which is where I bought it from. Most everything is original. It even still has the factory floor mats in it! It's a solid car. No rust in the floor or trunk. It still has original paint. There's a couple small spots on the front of the quarter panels I plan to fix. I think I'm just going to repaint the stripes and leave the antique white as is. I do need to find some bumper guards for it. They are pretty much gone. Anyway, I look forward to the conversations here!

Nice car! And Oshawa built. You could order the docs on your car from GM of Canada if you want.

Re: New Guy From Ohio Here! 74 Laguna S-3
Thanks! I plan on ordering the build sheet/docs for the car. My other two were Baltimore cars. I do have the original rally wheels with trim rings and center caps. I'm leaning toward putting them back on. I like the Anson mags, but the car is so original I kind of feel like the rally's would be better. The car still has the original spare and jack, original interior, engine, etc. all in great shape. My last Laguna was a setup for drag racing. I put a cage in it, big block, no interior, racing buckets etc. So, I've already been down that road. I'm leaning toward keeping this one completely stock. There really doesn't seem to be that many stock ones around anymore. I'll post more pics here soon if you guys are interested.

I like how your car has the molding body side delete. My 73 ss was ordered like that (B81) and I think it's a cleaner look. I also love the Ansen mags. I'd keep both sets of wheels, one set for factory look and another for the "day 2" look.

Welcome !! She's a beauty. Oshawa, my car's from there too. I grew up in Toronto about 20-25 minutes from GM's Oshawa plant.
