I just calculated shipping a large 26 lb box that FedEx quoted at $42.39.  Speedee says $8.26.  It's not clear on their website how the paperwork is handled; nor, whether they pick up your packages.  All I find is they show the closest Walk-In Service Counter some 85 miles away.  Does that mean I'd have to drive to their business to ship?  Not going to happen for my situation if that's the case.

Where I work they pick up and deliver every day. I'm sure that most all business' within the map show has, or does, use SpeeDee. They're a very good inexpensive choice to the big two carriers. I'm sure if you ask your boss, or shipping and receiving dept and they'd let you ship from work. I have done that in the past and just paid the company I work for the fee.

I had a heavy medium size package to ship. I called UPS and ask them how much to send to a certain zip code. They said $45. I told the buyer that and he sent me the money. I took it to the UPS Store and They charged me $130. My loss! I found out the UPS Store is just a franchise operation not run by UPS itself. They can charge whatever they want to. I guess they saw me coming across the parking lot and said "here comes a sucker". JB
