looking for a 76/77 malibu
Hey guys,
My wife Christine has taken quite a liking to the ride of the week post. It looks to be a 76 or 77 Chevelle Malibu correct me if I'm wrong.
If any of you guys know of a possible project/ started but not finished car, please let Christine know. I'm also looking forward to her becoming more involved in the car hobby. I also know she will be in good hands with you guys here for help along the way.
We plan on taking our Cutlass to Sparta dragway next summer to have a bit of fun, possibly going to Grandbend as well as Cayuga.
Ok back to the Malibu,
If we take on a project it would be nice to have no holes through the body, trunk, floors, interior intact, engine, trans and rear in decent running order. Please let us know if you guys know of anything.
Thanks
Eric & Christine

Re: looking for a 76/77 malibu
We have been looking on Kijiji here in Canada, no luck so far. Would like to find a decent one up here in Ontario if possible. Approximately how many Malibu owners do we have on the site from Ontario? Our main concern would be interior/exterior part sourcing at the moment.
Thanks Guys,
Christine

Re: looking for a 76/77 malibu
I'm originally from Ottawa Ont. my 76 S3 Laguna was built in Oshawa. Moved to Pittsburgh in 2001. Buy your local Auto Trader, still some decent 73-77s around in Ontario.
Where in Ontario are you?

Re: looking for a 76/77 malibu
We are 45 minutes north of Toronto. My husband has his plate full with work and job costing until the new year. I have been looking on Kijiji, My husband tells me to just take anything LOL. However my taste of clean and pretty is very different than that of my husbands.
I know he would like to do as much as he can to a new found older car, however he's getting older now and I don't want him to have to do too much.
I would like a pretty red color with white interior, bucket seats and a shifter on the floor. So I'm hoping to find one like that.
I also know I can't put in an order for a 1976 car, so my wish full thinking may have to come to an end soon lol.
I'll keep looking.
Thank-you so much for your input and help guys,
Christine
