Lol. What size front rims? If theyre the 5.5" what size tires are they?

Re: My 70 in action this past saturday.
They are 15X3.5" on a Moroso 7.10X15 tire. I think the Chevelle needs a 27-28" tire to look right in the front. These measure just about 27.5"

Cool. I agree, chevelles need a decent size tire to fill the wheel well. Im running a. 28" front tire on 3.5" wheels as well. I'm looking for a 5.5" wheel because mine is more of a street car.

Re: My 70 in action this past saturday.
I agree. I've done the 3.5" on the fronts of street cars. And I'm at the point in life where function over pretend drag racing is more important. I would rather have the car turn and not plow while making turns than look fast. My Nova had the 165R-15 tires on the front with 15X3.5" and my 78 Malibu had the 26" tall M/T sportsmans on the front with 15X3.5". You could feel yourself have to keep turning the wheel just a little more until it turned!!!!!!

Thanks guys. I think it runs pretty good for what it is. Its still heavy, but I think a few people are surprised at how quick it is with the carpet and door panels and stock dash still in it. It has all the factory glass except the rear quarter windows. They wouldn't clear the wheel tubs.
