SOME PICS OF MY 5 YEARS ELKY PROYECT update LSX 600+ WHP ABOARD!
5 years ago , i found this truck almost junked, and with lots of work and pacience.. this is the actual condition... hoping to drive it in a few days!!
the powertrain includes a l31 vortec 350 stock internals, rhs manifold, megasquirt efi, 90 mm tb, gt 45 "china" turbo and more leftover from my shop!!

then i decided to change bucket for a single lamp ones... an buy a 74 grille....shorten the bumper.. and suck it!

The red is "rouge pounzeau" (a color from Renault palette of the 80´s) and the gray, was custom mixed using my HP laptop color as a guide, and coated in satin clear , all in Dupont brand.

today i have a little time . and work on my cluster... my cruck, came with the "standar cluster" and i´m not really a fan of the round gauges cluster... so i decide to do my own modification, hope that you like it!!!

I really like the way the dash came out, what size gauges did you use? Also any underhood pics? Im interested to see how you laid out the turbo kit, as Im planning on starting building mine later this year

Cool looking gauges and a nice setup. I wanted to do something similar but with rectangle gauges but I couldn't find any small rectangle gauges for fuel, volt, oil and temp.

Well. after some miles i straped the cruck on my dyno... and get some numbers at 6.5 psi ,still need new valvesprings (floating valves @ 4900 rpm)

A quick update.... after some abuse to the old l31 vortec, an 99 lq4 appears in my horizont, i cannot say no... so now i have
lq4 shortblock
ls9 cam
ls9 valve springs
317 heads
procomp intake
gt 45 turbo
621 whp   Â
and lots of fun.... Â now looking to get better launch, using the traction control from my ms3 engine management!
