Food Truck?
Been working on the idea of starting a food truck for a while now. I am trying to nail down some menu items.
The truck will be called Arcadian Grill or Arcadian Cuisine. Click the link below to view the menu and let me know what you think.

Re: Food Truck?
Dude, there is some good sounding food on there...not like the "roach coaches" I'm used to.

Re: Food Truck?
Just go thru the truck when buying / leAsing, I have seen them go boom from faulty propane set ups. But that menu sounds real good.

Sounds very good, maybe because I'm hungry.

Re: Food Truck?
You want some thing that cooks fast and everybody will line up for?
Bacon wrapped tator tots. Just get thin sliced bacon wrap the tot with a tooth pick to hold it and grab to eat it. Grill them tell crispy and walla you wont be able to make them fast enough. Great profit margin also.
Bad photo but here is what they look like.

Forgot you need a little rub sprinkled on them also. Serve with BBQ sauce on the side.

Re: Food Truck?
Please make sure the coffee is good. Im so sick and tired of buying coffee from those trucks and having to toss it because it tastes so bad.

Menu looks good! My uncle had a very busy kinda neighborhood famous sandwich shop. One of his best seller was potato and eggs on a roll. Simple cheap to make and cheap to sell and volume did the trick. I and I bet most people never saw a pile of scrambled eggs as big as what he would have in his shop every morning and it would all be gone within an hour of making them.

Re: Food Truck?
Good idea for the tots. I will check into that. Thanks for the input guys. If you don't mind I have a little survey I would like everyone to check out. give it a try that way I can gauge what I have. Everything on the menu can be made into a wrap or as a nacho plate as well. I may also consider the tot idea. I need to try those regardless!

What is your target customer/location?
Just curious as our family owned a popcorn wagon for 3 years . Lots of hours noon-9:00 7 days a week plus two hours cleaning daily. We sat at a public pool during the Day and down town on Main street Thursday nights. I was 14 years old when we got it.

It was a 1948 Marmons Jeep truck with wood sides. Had to stand up to drive it. 3 speed plus over drive and it was front wheel drive.

Re: Food Truck?
Targeting mostly events and weekend runs around locations in town. I am actually thinking of getting a 65 chevy truck to fix up and pull a trailer with rather than actually have a truck, but I am still up in the air on it. It is still in the planning stage for now, nothing set in stone, but any tips or advice are appreciated.

Did anyone take my survey? I have sent this out to like 50 people, but only 8 have responded.
