Who would be interested ?
I have a chance to get a saw / table set up to make aluminum window molding's would there be any interest to any one with me getting this and making them sets ? you would just need the corner piece to make it complete, it would NOT be factory but would be better than not having the molding at all . The Aluminum can be polished by owner to match the chrome corner piece.

You talking about the opera windows? I'm good...but, others may want to see an example of what they might look like before deciding.

That doesn't look half-bad! How'd you get those radiuses (or, is it radii?) bent...or, is that a trade secret?

Re: Who would be interested ?
Aluminum is easy to work with being that thin.

Re: Who would be interested ?
I could do that if wanted I have a powder coating set up. Silver or Black, BUT if black was wanted you would need to send the corner pieces to coat at same time.

Re: Who would be interested ?
I just bought some '73 stainless ones. ($100.00) Â Plastic repops are $175.00 (last I looked). $75.00? Sounds like a good price you can make money on.

Re: Who would be interested ?
let me work out the details on this, I just wanted to gauge interest in these before I invested any time into these.

Re: Who would be interested ?
$100 for a pair of '73 stainless ones is a bargain. Â I've never had trouble getting $175 (and, sometimes more) for a set when I find them. Â Point being, I think there's some room at the top end if $75 isn't enough to make something on them. Â With that said, the closer to the price of repops and originals you get, the nicer they had better look or else people will just make the jump to the others.

Re: Who would be interested ?
yes I realize that Steve I thinking trying them at $125 and if a member wanted them powder coated Silver or Black prob $150 and see where they go from there, if there is not much interest at that price will adjust, but at least its a starting point right ?

Re: Who would be interested ?
I think I paid $160 for plastic repop a couple of years ago. I would be interested in a set down the road, the plastic ones probably will not last too long in this AZ heat.

Re: Who would be interested ?
Those look awesome. I don't think I even have the corner pieces for mine. I was thinking going without the vinyl and removing all of the trim, but you have got considering the alternative.

I think I'd be in for a set if you can do Monte's -- I'm pretty sure I have the corners floating around here somewhere.
