I should put together a montage of photos from our local yards. Here's a couple I took today. Weather is finally improving and had to take part of the day and get my "fix".

Minnesota...
There's another huge one I frequently visit that isn't as clean and tidy...looks more similar to the overgrown one Dynchel posted; especially, in the summer. But, whoa nelly do they have lots of G3's!

Re: huge classic car junkyard
Idk what it is about Ohio, but we don't have a lot of old cars in yards (that I've found anyway) the one yard I know of has some, but most look like they have been there since the '70's, and have very little of anything worth a on them. Plus nowadays they are literally "in the woods" when the leaves are on the trees you don't even see cars...that's how overgrown it is. Real slim pickings in the g3 department, a few Monte's and cutlass', and what's left of a '75 elcamino (complete with tree growing through the engineless compartment)

No, I've never heard of that one. Granted the Ohio /pa. Border is only about a hour away from me (depending where on the border it is. I'm at the extreme north...think lake Erie)

Re: huge classic car junkyard
If you are on Facebook, there is a '73/'77 parts page, may have better luck asking there. There are more members with b.o.p.'s there.
