75 Buick regal
Ok found a 75 regal on line with what looks like a clean body. But says interior needs redone and motor not running would it be real bad if a guy put a sbc in it if Buick motor shot

I would. Buick 350's leave a lot to be desired. Now if we are talking 455 that's a different story...

Re: 75 Buick regal
My aviation partner has a '74, and his came with a 305 Chevy engine. The '75 chassis is likely drilled on the front cross member the same as other G3 cars, with holes to match various engine mounts.

I am pretty sure the (Chevy) 305 engine didn't come out until '76.

I like it, it has potential. Twenty years ago I had a rusted to '77 regal that I always thought could be cool if it wasn't so rotten, roof and all.

I don't think the Buick Trans will match the chevy bellhousing, I could be wrong. JB

If you like it and it's in your budget, then who cares which engine you put in. Just have some fun doing it!

Correction it's a 74 was running a yr ago when parked has a 350 Buick that he was told was bored to like .030 or .040 needs interior and a steering column cause keys were lost and ignition drilled out. But price is under 1k any thoughts or opinions

I'd say jump on it!!!! It has lots of potential, and run a chevy 350 if you want, its your car.

Amen.
I like the look. Could be an awesome ride! Just needs a little personal refinement. (350 SBC)

Dude...I've already got a floor console/shifter (auto) and strg. column w/key for it. Sport strg wheel, also! Pulled them out of a '76 Century and they are just looking for a good home! Just pulled a crack-free dash out of a '73 Century Luxus, too. You're half way home with the interior!
