Paint Color?
I still do not have the money to paint my Elky, but long range plans are nothing new to me. What do you think about the color in the following photo? JB [img][/img]

Re: Paint Color?
Spectra Chrome with candy green top coat. Yes expensive, $2,000 just for paint material. JB

Re: Paint Color?
Green is my favorite color. I really like the shade on the hood, it is not as yellow tinted as the new Chevy Synergy Green. I prefer a more pure Green shade like the 1969 Rally Green. When you add a little pearl to Rally Green, it really "pops". That spectra Chrome does look like an expensive paint process! it sure is nice lookin" though!

Re: Paint Color?
that is a nice color, Jolly Rancher eat your heart out!
Heres a pic of my off topic car for comparison of a different green.[img][/img]
The car's name is Olive. And she is green on green on two tone green seats.

Re: Paint Color?
That Nova is just one of the many colors I have been considering. Nice car! I doubt I will ever get the car/truck painted, but you never know. I sold my 78 Elky for $300 just to get rid of it. I would never have gotten around to restoring it and now the new owner vows to do it up right. JB

Re: Paint Color?
shoot I hate to admit it cuz its on such a lame car, but theres a kia soul color I like and would actually consider for my malibu if I wasnt so set on white, I know its kinda drab but I think on a cooler car it would look tough as nails

That is beautiful stuff if you have the cash, painting skill, and perfect bodywork. Assuming all that went perfectly, I'd then be afraid to drive it for fear of scratching it.
