pictures of a 73 Monte I saw for sale
Saw this crusty old survivor up in North Seattle/Lynnwood area this weekend, thought you guys might get a kick out of how green and awesome it is. I think it would own to have sweet running gear under this body.[img][/img]

Needs work but it really has no rust, would make a really good project car.

I had a 74 that was exactly the same color combo. Bought it in '86 for $350 in Coney Island, NY. It had 92k on it. Sold it in '88 for $325. Used it as my daily driver while I was doing my chevelle engine and paint. Mine was a bench with the landau style vinyl top. It was a great car.

You have to just bite the bullet and pay the shipping, I think you still come out ahead in time and body work paying labor or for materials. That car could be redone Im sure really nice.If some of you guys saw the rusty junk Ive seen redone you would be really greatful for cars like this. Im happy there are many still out there.

I poked around at the vinyl a bit and it felt crunchy and thick underneath, bad news I'd say. decent looking recoverable seats though.
