Does anyone know where I can find the clips for the opera windows on a 1977 cutlass supreme.
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: 77 Cutlass opera window clip
Seems like we had this discussion about what clips fit what cars earlier this summer. At this time, I can't say for certain if the Monte clips also fit the Cutlass Supreme (I was able to determine that the Monte and Malibu were not the same). But, I can certainly go out and pick some off a Cutlass and confirm. In fact, I'm going to make it my mission to pick some off every "A" body and document them for everyone's use.

If it's an "S" body style, it might be different than the notchback body. There are also Cutty's w/ the quarter windows vs opera...so potentially 3 different clips I'd think.

when i think clips,i think the things that hold the opera window in from the inside that have a 1/4 screw holding them on.
now a opera corner molding clip maybe we could be on the same page in some descriptions.....

Yeah...good point. Didn't think about the inner glass retaining clips. I'm pretty sure those are all the same.

Mine are the black plastic, there's also the metal one that's on the bottom and screws into the "window ledge"- those are different from one another on my car...not by much but they are a different shape, kinda weird.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm trying to replace the chrome trim around the opera windows with the Landau top. I have found many places that sell the trim but I have not found anyone that has the clips too. I just bought this car, I'm new to this restoring thing.

Well, you've come to the right place if you want help with your project. Lots of knowledgeable people on here...and a good place to find parts.
Off the top of my head, I know of at least 28 Cutlasses ('73 thru '77) sitting in the yards around my area that I have access to in which to pick parts. If you need the outside molding clips, I'll get you a pair. If you want to go one step better and use the stainless moldings found only on the '73's, I've got three sets of like new used ones, too. These don't require clips...but, they'll be more expensive than the aftermarket chrome-plated plastic ones.

I guess the magic question is, how much for the stainless moldings?
