and heres a doozy. i found the invoice for the NOS w-well moldings and fender emblems that i bought in 1988. put them on monte in 2003. guess i should of bought 50 sets. Rolling Eyes

I, too, have my old invoices for the wheel well moldings I bought in 1997 (one year after I acquired my '77). Even then, I was having trouble locating them within the national Chevy dealer obsolete inventory data base. Found the rear ones at a dealership here in Mpls and paid $30/ea. for them. Found the fronts (one each at two different dealerships in the Phoenix area) that same summer. Paid $54/ea. for those. Only lower rocker/fender/qtr moldings I could find back then were the front fender moldings. Remember...these were the days before e-Bay, Craigslist, etc.

My dad has the receipts for the outer door belts somewhere, that he bought new in the early 90's from a dealership. They were probably $120.. I like digging through old stuff and finding parts I havent seen in a while. I know I have a few shifter buttons, a ton of dash emblems, and who knows what else, I miss junk yard weekends!
