Old Photo Tow Truck

Again...I know this is a G3 site, but this is just too cool not to share. Came across this antique tow truck with manual winch the other day. Wouldn't this be cool to restore and display?!!

This one belongs to the owner of the company i work for. It was bought new in the 30's . I think its a 35? Lincoln. Was orignally a touring car that was turned into a tow truck by a local coach builder back then. Has been in the family ever since and is currently being brought back to driving condition. It runs, but I havent seen it move yet.

That is really cool,they both are.You have to have a lot of respect for a commercial vehicle that survived all those years.

Yes, that's what i'm sayin!! I'd love to chop and drop that late 40's Chevrolet panel delivery.

Both run and drive, and are for sale if anyone's interested. I really wanted to keep the Studebaker, but oh well, as far as trucks go my heart lays with utes. Which makes me crave a Coupe Express to go with the '59 El Camino I want.
