Post by knightfan26917 Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:35 am

On the way to work, Monday, February 2 (Ground Hog Day ... 6 more weeks of winter coming), I noticed this plate on a Subaru Outback wagon:
WHAT V 8

Every morning on the way to work, I used to see a Pontiac Grand Am with the plate "BMW AT 40" ... but I haven't seen it for a while....

What've you seen recently?

Oh sweet! I love those original plates like that. Have any pics of yours?

I did a double take when I saw this one early one morning, the week of February 12:
GET IT UP

It was on a black HHR, driven by an older gentleman.....

Holy cow. How is a '73 Oklahoma tag never been installed on a car? Is it one of the "generic" plates the state made?

no I think they registered their collector cars but never installed the plates, In oklahoma if you have custom plates, you have to have the registered plate in the car somewhere. Or maybe they never installed it and never drove it, then got a new tag in 74 and the 73 was never installed
