Photoshopped my MC.
I'm in a photoshop class, and in my spare time, I photoshopped some Weld Prostars onto my MC.
Not bad for an amateur, eh?

Yeah, you might say so, JB. It looks freakin' awesome!!!! I don't know how much the Welds add to the incalculable beauty of that mint Monte, but I'd say quite a bit. I like Welds a lot, and they're right at home on this ride.

Re: Photoshopped my MC.
They are my favorite aftermarket wheel. If the day ever comes that I have 800 bucks that I don't know what to do with, I'd get them in a heartbeat. 15x7's all the way around. I would want the car to have the same stance as with the 15x7 Rallys.

Re: Photoshopped my MC.
why not 15x8 or 15x10 in the rear it would look much better

I don't like big rims on the back. I'm not big on the rear end jacked up like that. I like the car to have a nice even stance all the way around.

Re: Photoshopped my MC.
Personally I think the 7" wheels are too thin and give our cars a wimpy looking stance, and I will put 8" on the cars that don't already have them. An 8" rim will allow a 275/60 tire to fit with ease, and I suppose even a 295/60 tire. I think those sizes make the car look just right, and if they're on all 4 corners, the car still has an "even" stance, just wider looking than factory, which I prefer. If you get 8", you can always put a thinner tire on there!

If you get the backspacing right the tire will tuck up in the car and the rear end wont be jacked up.
A 10" Rim with a 295/50/15 tire is only 26-26.5" tall also
A 275/60/15 is 28" tall and would raise the rear some, but fill up the wheel well a little bit more and make it look better. Being the small window car you could almost get away with any size tire and it looks good, its us large window car guys that have to have a huge tire to make the proportions look right

Re: Photoshopped my MC.
yea mine is 295/50/15 and when the shocks are fully out of air(soon to be bags) the tire tucks real nice into the wheel well and just got some 2" lowering springs (front) and new front a-arms (new bushings),gotta love horse trading

Especially now that we've been BELOW FREEKIN' ZERO for over 24 hours ... and have a few more hours to go before the temps rise above zero. Ughola.
